Financial Controller
As an award-winning legal firm employing 70 people with offices in Inverness, Invergordon and Portree, we are looking to recruit a Financial Controller to work at our city centre office in Inverness. The Role
To provide accurate and timely management and financial information to the Directors with substantive analysis and interpretation to support sound decision-making within our company.
To deliver best practice client accounting and cashiering services strictly in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts rules and other regulatory obligations.
To provide assistance to the Finance Director with the supervision and management of our Accounts team including effective, positive performance management and objective setting.
To provide sound technical advice to the Directors and to assist in strategic planning, programme and project management and implementation.
To compile budgets and deal with the payroll.
Qualifications and experience
Qualified to CIMA or CA or ACCA standard or equivalent
Highly excel proficient
Legal accounting / auditing exposure desirable but not necessary
Your working week will be 35 hours between 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday. Salary will be up to £40,000 commensurate with qualification, skills and experience.

Property Department Assistant
As an award-winning legal firm employing 70 people with offices in Inverness, Invergordon, Portree, we are looking to recruit a Property Department Assistant to work at our city centre office in Inverness, joining our busy and progressive Estate Agency Department.
Applicants should have excellent communication and organisational skills, a good work ethic, the ability to function well under pressure and prioritise workloads accordingly. In return, we offer a supportive, sociable and friendly working environment.
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in selling houses and previous estate agency experience would be desirable but is not essential as full training will be given.
Salary will be up to £18,000 per annum commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Part Time Cashier/ Accounts Administrator

The role will be part time over 3 days per week ( 21 hours) . Ideally the successful candidate will be SOLAS qualified , however, we will consider those with general cash room experience as full training will be given. Job description
We are currently seeking a Receptionist/Administration Assistant to provide a warm welcome to our clients and administrative support to our Mortgage Advisers and Financial Advisers in the brand new office of our fast growing financial services business in Inverness city centre. This role will be full time 35 hoursa week and would suit an individual who has a warm friendly manner and is comfortable working in a fast paced environment, enjoys multi-tasking, and working to deadlines.
